After leaving Brannels school in St Stephen in 1997 with 10 GCSEs I went to Duchy College where I obtained a BVNA in Pre-Veterinary Nursing and an NVQ Level 2 in Animal Care.
Shirley started working with Caretime Services knowing that she would have to achieve an NVQ 2 in Care. She had left school with poor qualifications and being over 40 years of age had not held a job for over twenty years.
Jade left Cape Cornwall School with average GCSE grades and started a Travel and Tourism course at college. After leaving college she worked as a Receptionist but was unhappy with the work.
