Emma Gibbons

Emma left Penrice Community College in 1998 with eight GCSEs progressing to further education and she achieved NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and a BTEC in Childcare.

Whilst she was looking for a suitable position in the Care sector, she was offered employment at Trenython Manor and started apprenticeship training with Ultra and has achieved the following qualifications;  FMA in Food and Drink Service, AMA in Hospitality Supervision, Customer Service, Key Skills IT, Communication and Application of number at Level 2, Certificates in Intermediate Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and the National Certificate for Personal Licenceholders.

As Breakfast Supervisor her duties include the smooth running of the restaurant from managing staff rotas to reconciling the daily accounts.

With the support of her employer, who encourages all staff to engage in training, she has recently started an NVQ Level 4 in Management.  Her ultimate goal is to achieve a Management position and hopes to be promoted to Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in the near future.
