Ben Harris

Ben left Penrice Community College and started working at Cosy Style, a carpet retail outlet in St Austell.  Ben wanted to improve his numeracy skill and started on a Learning Agreement scheme.

After achieving a Key Skill qualification in April 2007 he decided to wait before progressing onto further training.  During the next few months Ben was becoming more confident and as he had to deal with the general public and also colleagues in the workplace.  In November 2007 he felt ready to continue further training and started an Apprenticeship in Retail.  He achieved the Apprenticeship qualification in January 2009 and is happy with his achievement.  Presently he is considering what his next progression route will be.
