Year 11 Students at Hayle Community School staged a fashion show in conjunction with Pam's People of Truro. Each pupil modelled six gowns and was escorted down the catwalk by male models.

The show was also an opportunity for Ultra Work Based Training Students to hone their hairdressing skills.

Level two and three students did pupils' hair using accessories provided by Clare's Accessories of Penzance.

The hairdressers - Diane Beamish, Michelle Archer and Jasmin Jenkin (Level 3) and Beverley Thomas, Ami Roberts and Zara Gilbert (Level 2) were able to use the experience to achieve units in their City and Guilds coursework.

They were supervised by Julie White, Nicky Burnett and Lin Eva-Blackmore from Ultra.
