Successful fashion show for Hayle Community School - West Briton

The Pupils of Year 11 at Hayle Community School held a stunning fashion show at the School on Thursday 29 January in conjunction with Danue People of Truro. Pupils modelled six evening gowns and were escorted by male pupils.

The models' hair was styled by Ultra Work Based Learning level three training students Diane Beamish; Michelle Archer and Jasmine Jenkin who were helped by level two students Beverly Nicholas, Ami Roberts and Zara Gilbert. The evening accessories were provided by Claire's Accessories.

Hayle Community School spokesman, Mrs Tracey Warren commented: "The evening was a resounding success. It was well attended and the models performed very naturally."

Mrs Warren added that the school thanked Pam of Danus People for supplying the dresses and her hard work commenting: "Many of the gowns will probably be purchased to be worn at the forthcoming Year 11 leaving dinner."
