We are pleased to announce that Ultra has become one of only a select few independent training providers in the country able to deliver the Institute of Leadership & Management’s (ILM) Level 5 NVQ in Management. This is indeed excellent news as we are already successfully delivering the ILM’s Level 3 and 4 NVQs in Management, Level 2 NVQ in Team Leading, Certificate in Team Leading, Introductory Certificate in First Line Management and Certificate in First Line Management.

The ILM’s Level 5 Management qualification is aimed at Senior Managers with a high degree of autonomy for deploying resources and achieving strategic goals. Candidates are required to complete a total of seven units – four mandatory units plus three out of a choice of twenty-one optional units. These units are designed to assess knowledge and understanding of key activities relating to a manager’s role as well as facilitating the development of skills to improve personal effectiveness.

Candidates who achieve the ILM Level 5 NVQ in Management will be eligible to apply for ILM Member status (MInstLM) and may choose to progress to postgraduate management qualifications, including MBAs.The ILM is a premier body with huge experience in the field of leadership and management both in the UK and internationally. The ILM’s portfolio of Team Leading and Management qualifications is designed specifically for practising managers at all levels of responsibility. The qualifications focus on the ability to work competently in the workplace at a level appropriate to the role.
