South West Training Provider opens new Bristol facility

Beauty TrainingSouth West vocational training provider, Ultra Training, has opened new Bristol facilities in order to accommodate the growing demand for its services. Ultra, who were recently named by the Chief Inspector of Adult Learning as one of the best training providers in the country, has seen its business in the Bristol area increase significantly in recent months. Toni Wratten, Ultra’s manager for the area, said, “We have built our reputation for quality by meeting the training needs of both businesses and their staff, specialising in work based delivery so that employers do not lose their staff to time-consuming off-the-job training, however, our expertise is increasingly in demand from schools. We can provide students with the vocational skills necessary to ease their transition from school to work and then, as one of the South West’s biggest Apprenticeship providers, help them find a suitable employer.”  David Ham, Ultra’s Managing Director added, “Our new training premises in the Bradley Stole area of the city provide excellent facilities for a wide range of training provision. In just the first month of operation we have run a variety of skills development courses for local business and also started three weekly classes of NVQ training for students from ten local schools.”

Ultra can offer training to NVQ levels 2, 3 and 4 in a wide range of occupations including: Health & Social Care, Childcare & Early Years, Administration & IT, Hair & Beauty, Hospitality, Retail and Management. Some of these courses can be delivered free or at a subsidised rate. The company, which provides training to nearly 2,000 students across the whole South West region, also delivers a wide range of business and personal development short courses.
