South West training provider opens new Bristol office

South West training provider, Ultra Work Based Learning, has opened a new Bristol office in order to accommodate the growing demand for its services. Ultra, who last year were named by the Chief Inspector of Adult Learning as one of the best training providers in the country, has seen its business in the Bristol area increase significantly in recent months.

Toni Wratten, Ultra’s manager for the area, said, “We have built our reputation for quality by meeting the training needs of both businesses and their staff. We specialise in work based delivery so that employers do not lose their staff to time-consuming off-the-job training, however, there are times when it’s best to deliver one-to-one tuition in an environment away from a busy workplace. Our new premises will help meet this growing demand as well as providing a base for our work based assessor and training staff operating in the area.” Located in Avonmouth,

Ultra’s new office has ample parking and excellent communications via the M5. David Ham, Ultra’s Managing Director said, “We are committed to supporting local employers in their efforts to raise the skills of their workforce; our new Bristol base represents tangible evidence of that commitment. It will serve, not only Bristol, but also Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire”.

Ultra can offer training to NVQ levels 2, 3 and 4 in a wide range of occupations including: Health & Social Care, Childcare & Early Years, Administration & IT, Hair & Beauty, Hospitality, Retail and Management. Some of these courses can be delivered free or at a subsidised rate. The company, which provides training to nearly 2,000 students across the whole South West region, also delivers a wide range of business and personal development short courses.
