New training contracts to benefit childcare employers
14 January 2008
South West training provider, Ultra Work Based Learning, has won new contracts with Bournemouth Borough Council and the Learning and Skills Council to deliver training to staff employed in the Childcare sector in Bournemouth as well as throughout Dorset.
Ultra, who last year were named by the Chief Inspector of Adult Learning as one of the best training providers in the country, are well known in other parts of the South West having delivered high quality work based training for over twenty years but are relatively new to Bournemouth and Dorset. Sandy Hale, Ultra’s head of Childcare and Early Years training, said, “I believe that we have been awarded the new contracts because of Ultra’s proven ability to deliver high quality training in a format that suits employers. Unlike many other providers, we specialise in delivering qualifications in the work place which means that businesses such as nurseries do not lose their staff to classroom style delivery.”
Ultra can offer free or subsidised NVQs in Children’s Care Learning and Development and ILM Management at levels 2, 3 and 4. Assessors’ and Verifiers’ awards are also available as well as various business and personal development short courses. If employers or staff in the Childcare and Early Years sector would like more information then please contact us.
