Ultra continues tradition of Beauty in Clifton

Cliftonbank CollegeUltra, one of the South West’s leading independent providers of training, has announced that it is to continue a tradition of delivering top class Beauty Therapy training in the Clifton area of Bristol famous for Brunel’s suspension bridge and its stunning Georgian and Victorian architecture. Training for Beauty Therapy Apprentices will be undertaken in Cliftonbank House, an imposing gothic style mansion which fronts onto Clifton Down. “There has been a tradition of top quality training in Clifton, such as White Rose School of Beauty which formally occupied Cliftonbank House” said David Ham, Ultra’s Managing Director. “We are delighted to take on that tradition and we bring with us a quarter of a century’s experience of high quality training provision in the South West”. Toni Wratten, Ultra’s Head of Hair and Beauty training added, “We will initially concentrate on meeting the considerable demand for providing Apprenticeships in Beauty Therapy for the young people of Bristol, however, we aim to develop further provision in such skills as complementary therapies in the very near future”.

Ultra can offer training to NVQ levels 2, 3 and 4 in a wide range of occupations including: Health & Social Care, Childcare & Early Years, Administration & IT, Hair & Beauty, Hospitality, Retail and Management. Some of these courses can be delivered free or at a subsidised rate. The company, which provides training to nearly 2,000 students across the whole South West region, also delivers a wide range of business and personal development short courses.
