ANOTHER WINNER FOR ULTRA

Chloe PittThis year’s Celebrating Success Awards organised by the Devon and Cornwall Training Providers’ Network and sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council took place on Wednesday 3 February in The Sherwell Centre at Plymouth University.

The event, linked with the National Apprenticeship week from 1 – 5 February, recognises excellence in the training and education sector.

Ultra Training’s Chloe Pitt won the award for the best Apprentice Progressing to Higher Education and travelled in a stretch limo to enjoy the evening of celebration.  Chloe, who works for Cornwall Council, completed Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship qualifications with Ultra and is now in the second year of a Foundation Degree in Building, Renovation and Design.

Congratulations to the other Ultra Apprentice nominees recognised for their achievements on the evening:  Anne-Marie Watts, Ultra Training;  Kylie Bartlett, Ultra Training;  Dionne Burt, Perfections;  Skye Latham, Footsteps;  Stacey Rowe, Kathy’s Hairdressing at Husbands,  Tamalyn Varley, Pendragon Crafts;  Vicky Coleman, Aruba Blu;  Jennie Noyce, Parnell’s Taxis;  John Brown, Aruba Blu;  Julie Fletcher who is studying a Childhood Degree course at Plymouth University and Mrs Powell the owner of Powell-Craft who was entered for Employer of the Year Award.
