ULTRA GOES GREEN - "A BRILLIANT COURSE"

Delegates attending Ultra's first course in environmental awareness were unanimous in pronoucing it a great success with Chris Mansfield of Powellcraft Retail calling it a "brilliant course".

The level 2 award in Environmental Principles and Best Pratice provides an awareness of key environmental concepts and an introduction to environmental management systems.  Sue Sands, Ultra's Business Support Co-ordinator said, "Environmental issues impact on every business and with the rising costs of energy and raw materials together with increasing environmental legislation, many businesses are being forced to address their own environmental performance.  Tackling these issues can help businesses reduce waste and utility costs, reduce liabilities and gain access to new markets and investors".

The Ofqual accredited CIEH course lasts one day and is suitable for progression to the Environmental Management Certificate; anyone interested in the course should contact Sue Sands on 08454 600 700.
